The **Oraculum** is the Nexus of the [[Circle of the Scroll]], the floating citadel-heart of the Mnemorium Canton in [[Sumara, The Shining City|Sumara]]. A tower of light-drinking indigo stone crowned by a turning crystal lens, it holds the memory of the elven people.
## Location & Geography
The Oraculum anchors the Mnemorium Canton, on the upper northern face of Sumara's caldera — half carved into the cliff and half standing above it, its deep stone halls kept in a perennial dim light. The citadel is a tower of indigo stone that seems to drink the light around it, crowned by a slowly turning crystal lens that throws shifting glyphs across the sky. Like all seven Nexuses, it can lift from its anchor and drift above the city, rising with its sister citadels to dock at the peak of the [[Royal Citadel]] whenever a [[Sumara, The Shining City#The Confluence of the Seven|Confluence]] is called.
## Seat of the Scroll
The Oraculum is the seat of the [[Circle of the Scroll]] — Sumara's archivists and lore-keepers — and its Meridian, Archivist Elrohir Gemflower, ancient and absent-minded, with its halls run day to day by the head librarian, Aaroun. Within its deep stone libraries lie the most extensive historical archives in the known world: centuries of records covering the Material Plane, the [[Chaos Wars]], and the [[Silmara Family|Silmara]] lineage.
## [[The Bloody Nails|Campaign: The Bloody Nails]]
#### [[Session 51 - The Last Light]]
The party climbed to the archives of the Oraculum, where an old archivist told them the oldest history of all — of [[Ryordan Silmara]] and the sundering of the [[World Tree]].
