In a city that has chosen isolation as its chief defence, the Weave's warding work is the foundation of that choice — constant, invisible, and enormously demanding. When the [[Sumara, The Shining City#The Confluence of the Seven|Council of the Seven Circles]] authorised the [[Emerald Ceremony]] — a controlled, heavily warded passage back to the Material Plane for intelligence-gathering — it fell to the Weave to make it possible.
