Disciplined and earnest, he cuts a composed figure in his silver-and-grey armour — though those who look closely will notice the tells of a man who is very much still finding his footing. ## Biography Caeryn trained under [[Ayana Syndrosa]] before her disappearance during [[The Emerald Ceremony]], and her absence left a quiet gap in his formation as a warden. When [[The Bloody Nails]] arrived in Sumara with a child-aged Ayana in tow, it fell to Caeryn to lead the arrest — a role he handled with as much dignity as the situation allowed, even as it spiralled well beyond anything his training had prepared him for. He was blasted against a wall by child-Ayana mid-interrogation, though she pulled the blow deliberately. When Ayana was restored to her true form, she greeted him with the easy familiarity of an old mentor — teasing him about his father Rellian and his terrace vegetables — and Caeryn was the first in the city to say the name *Syndrosa* aloud.
