Sister to [[Uric Graad]], she shares his commitment to the rebellion against the [[Valtorran Empire]] — though where Uric works in the open, Ella moves through shadows, slipping past guards and locked doors with practiced ease. ## Biography Ella and her brother [[Uric Graad]] grew up in Darmouth, a port city long squeezed under Imperial occupation. Where other residents learned to keep their heads down, the Graad siblings were drawn into the resistance — eventually finding their place within the [[Order of Ravens|Order of Ravens]], a clandestine network dedicated to undermining Imperial control. Ella's natural talent for stealth and deception made her an ideal field operative, and she took on missions that required a light touch and a cool nerve. She wears the black cloak and hood of the Order, and knows [[Darmouth]]'s alleys and rooftops as well as any guardsman knows his patrol route. ### [[The Bloody Nails|Campaign: The Bloody Nails]] #### [[Session 03 - The Streets of Darmouth]] Ella was apprehended by city guards in a side alley while attempting to steal schematics for [[Skyreach]] from the Lawmaster's office. The party witnessed her capture but did not intervene. [[Uric Graad]] watched from the rooftops nearby. Later that evening, [[Uric Graad\|Uric]] and [[Gemma Finegold|Gemma]] revealed her identity and the significance of the stolen intel, and appealed to the party for help breaking her out before the information could be extracted from her. #### [[Session 04 - To Free a Raven]] The party successfully infiltrated the prison, located Ella's cell, and extracted her along with the [[Skyreach]] intel hidden in her confiscated gear. A guard named Layla grew suspicious during the extraction and moved to raise the alarm; the party subdued her before she could act.
